The online banking secure Message Center is a safe place for the credit union to communicate with you. Remember that normal email is not a secure way to communicate personal information. Because the Message Center is part of online banking, and you have to verify your identity by logging in, we can include personal information in these messages that we would never send to you in an email.
To quickly access the Message Center from any page, click at the top of the page.
What messages will you see in the Message Center?
eAlerts to which you have subscribed, such as alerts that let you know when an account hits a certain balance, or when a loan payment is coming due. These messages can include account numbers and other personal details if needed.
Special notices from your credit union about upcoming events, promotions, and other information for you as an owner of the credit union. (These messages will be delivered to you automatically when you log in, then will be stored in the Message Center for 30 days so you can read them again later.)
Security alerts related to your Personal Internet Branch (PIB) Profile. If you have a PIB Profile to control how online banking behaves for you and what features are available, notification will be sent to your Message Center if someone else attempts to access online banking. Not only will this reassure you that access was denied, but it will warn you that someone might be trying to guess your password.
Click on any message subject to read it. After a message has been read, it will stay in the Message Center for approximately 30 days, then will be deleted automatically. Messages you have not read yet will stay in your Message Center indefinitely.
To learn more about the security and personalization features available through your Personal Internet Branch (PIB) Profile, contact the credit union or visit our website.
